A Lodge meeting usually takes place on the last Wednesday of the month.

During the meeting, there are many things that may be happening.  A ceremony for a new joining member, or an existing member. Lectures from scholars on the history of Freemasonry can often fascinate the listeners, whilst a demonstration of “Old-World” ceremonies may be absolutely riveting.- and amusing !

There is great pride for everyone involved in “getting it right” during a ceremony, and whilst it’s fair to say  things are rarely perfect, we all  get a tremendous sense of achievement from trying our best.

The meeting is followed by a multi-course meal called a “Festive Board”, where we get to relax and enjoy the conversation of other like-minded people, making new friends and renewing old acquaintances.

A typical Lodge Meeting will be folowed by a "Festive Board" meal together
